Account Management Overview
The Account Management area of the Aqua UI menu is used for administrative tasks related to your Aqua SaaS Edition account. This area includes the sub-areas and screens listed below. You may click the links to go to the documentation related to each item.
User Management: A user is someone who utilizes Aqua Platform functionality: via the UI, the REST APIs, or both.
- The Users screen allows you to view and manage (if you have admin privileges) user accounts.
- Your enterprise may have multiple teams of users, each working on different projects, and requiring access to different sets of system resources. Therefore, other screens in User Management allow you to view and manage (admin privileges required) user groups, roles, application scopes, and permission sets. The functionality described above is collectively referred to as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
SSO (Single Sign-On):
- Aqua supports single sign-on (SSO) via SAML 2.0, and is compliant with any SAML 2.0-compliant provider.
- SSO Group Mapping allows you to map SSO groups to Aqua roles.
Licenses: The Product Licenses screen allows you to view and manage Aqua Platform software licenses (admin privileges required).
