Introduction

When connecting to the USE/ESE AQUA SaaS solutions one would need to get the required Auth Token from the CSPM environment first. The detailed steps are updated below.


Detailed Steps


    External Customer Environments

  • For pure customers environment which is on cloud.aquasec.com one would need to grab the Auth Token by running something like:


$AQUATOKEN=$(curl -X POST -d '{"email": "<<USER EMAIL>>", "password": "<<USER PASSWORD>>"}' https://<<CLOUD SPOLIT PROD URL>>/v2/signin | jq -r .data.token); echo $AQUATOKEN


Example:

$AQUATOKEN=$(curl -X POST -d '{"email": "<<USER EMAIL>>", "password": "<<USER PASSWORD>>"}' https://api.cloudsploit.com/v2/signin | jq -r .data.token); echo $AQUATOKEN
  • And then using this Auth Token, call the CSP API:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $AQUATOKEN" --request GET --url "<<AQUA USE API URL>>"

        

       Internal Environments (DEVELOPMENT)

  • For internal usage environments which are on cloud-dev.aquasec.com one would need to grab the Auth Token by running something like:
$AQUATOKEN=$(curl -X POST -d '{"email": "<<USER EMAIL>>", "password": "<<USER PASSWORD>>"}' https://stage.api.cloudsploit.com/v2/signin | jq -r .data.token); echo $AQUATOKEN
  • And then using this Auth Token, call the CSP API:
