TABLE OF CONTENTS
The Workloads screen of the UI centralizes information about workloads running in your environments, as well as their associated security issues and container computing infrastructure. Workloads include Kubernetes pods and containers.
Views and filtering
The Workloads page provides different views, or sets of information, about your workloads; namespaces, deployments, pods, containers, or hosts. This allows you to focus on the workloads that are pertinent to your current analysis. You can change the view by using the drop-down list in the upper left of the screen.
Each view may be filtered by one or more criteria, per the row of filters that appears under the view name. For example, you can filter the current view by:
- One of your application scopes
- Selecting a single host, namespace, deployment, and/or pod
- Selecting a vulnerability; this will show all workloads based on images containing that vulnerability (per the most recent image scan)
- Using the "More" menu to select additional filtering options
You can also enter text into the Search field (to the right of the magnifying glass symbol) to select the rows displayed.
Navigation between views
All views contain clickable items. When clicking takes you to a different Workloads view, the new view will generally be filtered for the relevant context. For example: Clicking the number of deployments in a row of the Namespaces view brings up the Deployments view, filtered for the namespace selected.
Security issues summary
All views include a summary of security issues related to the images on which the workloads are based; hover over a number shows its description.
