I want to add a GitLab registry.
Take these steps to add a GitLab registry.
- Use Docker V1/V2 as the registry type
- Use https://registry.gitlab.com as the registry URL
- Enter your credentials
- Test your connection. If successful, you will see the message “connection successfully established.”
- To add an image for scanning: Enter the path with the exact repository where the image is located under the search term.
If everything goes well, you should be able to select the tag you want to import and scan:
NOTE: GitLab’s support utility requires an exact keyword search. For example, if you do a keyword search for part of the name of your registry, you will get a 401 unauthorized error. However, if you enter the exact name of the registry, it will work fine.
